It is an excellent climber, it’s chameleon tail can wrap around tree branches allowing it to hang there for hours, it’s chameleon paws have rough skin patches which helps the climb, grip and perch on top of inclined narrow branches for a long time without slipping off. They are excellent runners and can run long distances to track their prey.
Comboanimals Physical description
A wolf in sheeps clothing, how about a wolf in chameleons skin. A wolf with the skin, feet, tail and eyes of a chameleon. Adults measure 105–160 cm (41–63 in) in length and 80–85 cm (31–33 in) at shoulder height. The mean body mass of the wolf is 40 kg (88 lb) making them potentially 2/3s the size of the average human.

This creature, like a wolf, does everything in packs including eating, sleeping and hunting. However they hunt in a far more sneaky and intelligent way. Like their chameleon cousins they are “sit-and-wait” predators. They will stay in one spot and wait for their prey to come to them. They do this by smelling the scent of their prey with their wolf nose, which has an excellent sense of smell, and they find the well used tracks of their prey. They then lie in wait on a well used track, where the pack space themselves out from earth other and climb up trees out of the eyeline of its prey. They then change the colour of their skin to match the surrounding environment to camouflage themselves (like a Chameleon can). When one of the wolfeleon spots the unsuspecting prey it will remain motionless and watch it with its protruding chameleon eye which can rotate and follow the movements of the prey. When the prey is sufficiently in the middle of the pack of wolfelons the leader will howl and all the rest of the pack will howl too. The prey will hear howling coming from all around it and will be disoriented not knowing where to run to. Then the pack will attack.
If the prey manages to evade this trap the wolfeons can give chase for many miles alike their wolf cousins.
