To claim territory or females, Male hares will have stand up boxing fights with each other whilst Male Deers (Stags) will joust each other with their antlers. The Jackalope will do both leading to spectacular deadly fights.

Described as a magical creature, the jackalope boasts a mesmerising fusion of features from its hare and stag ancestors. This mythical being possesses the slender and agile body of a hare, adorned with soft, velvety fur in shades of red, brown and gray. Accentuating its graceful form are the majestic antlers, reminiscent of a stag, which crown its head with elegance and grandeur.

A hare with the mass and antlers of a deer. It varies in weight, female deers weighing 63kg to 120kg and males weighing up to 190kg, from foot to shoulder males stand 4ft6 and females 4ft. With their antlers they reach over 6ft tall. They are potentially 1.7 to 2.7 times bigger than the average adult human.

The Jackalope's appearance is a sight to behold, captivating the imagination with its whimsical blend of hare-like features and the regal antlers of a stag. Its eyes, large and alert, gleam with an otherworldly wisdom, while its long ears, ever attentive, swivel independently to catch the faintest sounds of its surroundings.
In terms of behaviour, the Jackalope exhibits a harmonious combination of the hare's elusive nature and the stag's grace and confidence. It possesses the nimbleness and agility of a hare, darting through thickets and leaping with remarkable speed and precision. However, the Jackolope also carries itself with the noble bearing and gentle demeanour of a stag, exuding an air of quiet confidence and serene elegance.
They are extremely fast and agile, able to reaching speeds of up to 90mph, jump up to 5m high and 10m in distance. They can also swim but will do as little as often.
They live in large groups of up to 50.
Diet: Herbivore, It thrives on a diet of tender grasses, leaves, and shoots found in its natural habitat. The creature's keen sense of smell aid in foraging for the freshest and most nutritious vegetation, ensuring its sustenance and well-being.
Habitat: They are very elusive and sightings are rare. They are believed to favour a mix of lush environments to find food to forage and eat and then wooded areas for privacy and to sleep.
They seek out areas abundant in vegetation, providing ample grazing opportunities while also offering cover for protection and blending seamlessly with its surroundings. The Jackalope’s preferred habitats often boast a balance of open spaces for grazing and dense foliage for shelter.
